James (Jim) P. Ferrone, CPA, CGMA is a Director at Gramkow, Carnevale, Seifert & Co., LLC (GCS) and has been with the firm since 2016. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and New York and has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting.
Jim services clients in the non-profit, manufacturing, family owned businesses and professional service industries. He has provided these companies and their owners with audits, compilations, reviews, and tax support and management advisory services. Jim has a niche in ERISA and yellow book/non-profit auditing.
Jim is a member of the AICPA, NYSSCPA and the NJSCPA. He is a past president of the Essex County Chapter of the NJSCPA and has served on a number of its committees. Jim has been asked to speak and write on non-profit and ERISA issues. He also attends seminars and workshops in the field of ERISA and yellow book/non-profit auditing.
Jim is dedicated to serving the community. Jim is an Eagle Scout and is on the Executive Board of the Northern New Jersey Council of the Boy Scouts of America where he is the chair of the audit committee and he is a Director of the Erskine Lakes Property Owners Association. Jim is an avid skier, but truly enjoys kayaking and cycling with his family.
Jim is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and resides in Ringwood, New Jersey with his wife Deborah and son Jack.
