Bob Carpenter, CPA, AEP, Managing Director

Robert Carpenter, CPA, AEP is a Managing Director at Gramkow, Carnevale, Seifert & Co., LLC and a trusted advisor to his clients.  Bob joined GCS in 1987 and serves as Chairman of the firm's tax department.  Bob has extensive tax knowledge and serves clients in a variety of industries including healthcare, real estate,  high net worth individuals, estates and trusts.

Bob is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Jersey and an Accredited Estate Planner.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Bob began his career with KPMG Peat Marwick where he worked for seven years and attained a senior tax manager position before joining GCS.

Bob earned his Bachelor of Science – Accounting degree at Manhattan College in 1980.  He has held positions in various professional societies and service organizations such as the Estate Planning Council of Bergen County and the Internal Revenue Service Volunteer Speakers Bureau.  Bob is also an active member of CPA Associates International, a leading association of independent public accounting firms, and he has served on various CPAAI tax services committees.
